Seated exercises are perfect for strengthening core muscles, the back, and improving mobility in the joints for those who have difficulty standing up for extended periods of time. While still effective, these exercises have a much lower risk of falls. For many people, sitting down provides the extra stability they need to focus on garnering flexibility in isolated joints without putting too much pressure on them. Link
It is so important to exercise everyday and easier sitting down. I do number 4 daily.

Not sure if I can do most any of those. Especially ones that have you twist. My neurosurgeon would have a coronary ...

There is quite a variety of Chair exercises you can do which is good spice, not so far too fall. I was doing some yesterday and they had a guest who was an amputee doing them as well. I tell ya I was doing more huffing and puffing doing those than when I do my walking ones.

Yes I agree some of them are quite strenuous. What is good about them anyone can do them, no excuse not to exercise.
